Miniatures Museum of The World-Taiwan (6)

It has been a week of no miniatures for me and it looks like I will not have much time for it until the last week of May. Not even to create scenes for my palace stories.

In line with my mood, today's pictures will be for the downtrodden and poor. Enjoy if you can the scenes from the uglier side of life.

THE WRATH OF THE LANDLORD-NO ROOM WITHOUT PAYING

FATE OF AN OPIUM SMOKER
OVERCROWDED-LOW COST LODGING

EAST END LONDON-WAREHOUSE, COAL YARD, MUDLARKS

HOUNDSDITCH-STREET TRADERS
As I have cheered up considerably by now, we will end this post on an upbeat. Still poor but no longer downtrodden, here is THE ADVENTURES OF TOM SAWYER

  3. I am glad you are enjoying the pictures. I find them very inspiring too, Kim.

So much to do, so little time :), Merce. Now that I haven't done any serious mini creation for almost 2-3 weeks now except cross-stitch, I realise how much I have come to rely on making minis to keep me sane :D!

  7. Hallo San!
I envy you for your visit at the miniature museum in Taiwan!
Unfortunately, we don't have a miniature museum in Vienna... however; we don't even have miniature shops here to buy some furniture or decoration in 1:12 scale!

Thank you so much for sharing these wonderful pictures!

    hugs

  8. Hey Rosanna, thanks for the link and your concern.Sweetest!

Taenia, I feel your pain. No museum in Singapore, no dollhouse shops either BUT good for challenges then we will have to make make make which to me is the best part about dollhouses . Agree?

  9. You are right, San!

The best thing about our hobby is to make our minis instead of buying!

All the things that I own are unique :-)
